R-Drive Image Pros and Cons

R-Drive Image Pros and Cons

R-Drive Image is an easy and reliable free PC cloning and image copying tool from R-tools technology. This simple but effective software works flawlessly on Windows without requiring that you restart your system, so it does not interfere with normal functioning. R-Drive Image has been designed for the Windows environment. With an easy user interface, it quickly clones all your original hard drive partitions and allows for safe, secure and fast file copying.

Windows users can easily create CD/DVD burners or DVD mirrors using R-Drive Image. To burn an exact copy of your original disks, it has an advanced “CD-to-DVD” burn feature. In addition to this, you can create a bootable CD and DVD/CD-RW burners. It has a powerful Ripper engine which is able to rip audio CDs and music titles. The Ripper also supports encrypted data and a password for complete protection.

This is an ideal solution for all your data backup requirements. This software makes copying of various types of media disks as simple as possible. R-Drive Image allows you to create CD/DVD burners with a single click and copy various types of media files onto your hard drives. You can back up all your important data using R-Drive Image. The software enables you to easily reformat your systems when the need arises.

Windows users can backup their systems by cloning hard drives using R-Drive Image. To do so, you must disconnect your system from the computer. Then, launch the R-Drive Image utility and then connect your drives. Choose the drives and then click on the “Clone to Computer” button. You will be prompted with different choices such as creating a primary partition, creating a logical drive or automatically detecting all detected partitions on your hard drives and then creating a bootable disk.

If you want to backup or restore a particular system, you must identify the particular system and click on the “Backup Now” button. After selecting the disks to backup, click on the “Create System Restore Project” and follow the onscreen instructions. You can choose whether to create a restore point in the new location or restore within the current location by choosing the appropriate option. Once the project is completed, you can disconnect the system and then restart the system.

The built-in scheduler on Microsoft Windows OS ensures that you perform disk cloning quickly and easily. For example, disk cloning can be done in a few seconds by using the built-in scheduler. To do this, you just have to right-click on the disk you want to clone, open the “My Computer”, select “CD Partitioning” from the list of available options, select the desired size in megabytes, and click “Start”. The built-in scheduler will then guide you through the rest of the disk cloning process. You can even continue with cloning multiple additional volumes if you want to.

The R-Drive Image software allows for image compression. This is done by the use of the built-in image compression utility. To compress the image, first download the R-Drive Image software. It can be downloaded by clicking on the “Downloads” icon located at the bottom-right corner of the software’s main window. Next, drag the downloaded software to the “My Computer” folder located on the computer where you want to compress the image.

The R-Drive imaging software allows for the creation of incremental and differential backups. These backups are important for the proper operation of your computing device, especially if unexpected problems occur. What’s more, the backup software can create snapshots for you. In essence, you have the convenience of creating image clones whenever you need them.

If you don’t want to lose data due to the imminent or unavoidable loss of your data, it’s recommended that you create a differential or incremental backup to store your files. When the differential or incremental backup is complete, you can copy the files from the hard drive to the R-Drive. You can do this all right in the imaging software itself. To do this, click the “Ardent Cloning” button located at the top-right corner of the imaging panel.

Despite the numerous benefits that the R-Drive Image offers, there are still some cons you need to know about. Since the R-Drive isn’t yet ready for use by the general public, it does have some limitations when it comes to transferring and restoring data. For instance, you won’t be able to restore the files immediately after the cloning has been performed unless you have the ability to create incremental or differential backups.

The good news is that the R-Drive image is capable of being divided into multiple partitions and restored either using the R-Drive Restore or another one of the software that can perform file system recovery. Another advantage that the R-Drive Image has over the other one is that it can be used for booting up the OS without necessarily having an OS disk in your computer. It is also capable of restoring only specific partitions. The best thing to do if you encounter any of these problems is to contact the manufacturer of the product to get technical support.
